Conveniently located in the heart of Southlakes Housing Estate, Insight Early Learning Southlakes, Dubbo is a purpose-built Centre creating a community of learners where play is at the heart of the curriculum. The light-filled Centre has been designed to stimulate children's natural curiosity and sense of exploration.
We are thrilled to announce that we are now part of the Dubbo community - a rapidly growing community rich in culture, history and nature. The Centre's Nature Program focuses on creating environments that will provoke learning and provide opportunities for children to learn and grow through play.
We are now enrolling children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old and are taking bookings via Waitlist.

Hey there! I'm Donna Maree O'Neill, the go-getter and proud Centre Director of Insight Early Learning Southlakes, as I make waves reentering the world of early childhood education again, leaving the corporate world of managing and owning several businesses.
Let me give you a sneak peek into my life – it's a juggling act of managing a bustling childcare centre, mentoring the build of a new centre and being a wife, mother of five adult children, and a hands-on Nannie for two amazing grand babies, Sofia and Kobi. Trust me, they keep me busier than any boardroom ever did!
Now, when I'm not walking around the centre or chatting with members of our special community, you'll find me chilling with my husband, family and friends by our swimming pool, caravanning or sipping a glass of wine by the water.
Let's rewind a bit. My journey in childcare started way back in '86 when I got my qualifications –seven awesome years in childcare in Sydney's north shore multicultural communities followed. Moving back to Dubbo, I started my career in management before becoming a mum in 1995.
When I made my comeback to Child Care 3 years ago, things got real. I became a fierce advocate for inclusion, especially for children dealing with trauma in those crucial early years. Balancing my hectic family life with my passion for making a difference became my new normal.
Fast forward to today – I'm steering the ship at Insight Early Learning in Dubbo. With a mix of corporate know-how and a heart full of passion, my goal is simple: to create the best early years experience for the little ones in our care and our amazing educators. It's not just about running a centre; it's about creating a space where our community thrives, learns, and feels like they belong.
